The owner of the rights to an original work, such as books, musical works, films, paintings, and other works, as well as computer programs, is protected by copyright. This original work is known as intellectual property, and it is protected under Republic Act 8293, often known as the “Philippine Intellectual Property Code.”

Guidelines for Fair Use

  • Majority of the contents created must be yours.
  • Give credit to the owner.
